Regal Adds Mediterranean Dessert to Pastry Range

Regal Food Products Group have grown their puff pastry range by adding a sweet new treat – the popular Mediterranean dessert, Baklawa.

The Baklawa Collection contains a delicate selection of filo pastry sweets featuring chopped nuts and sweet syrup. The new collection includes pastry nests as well as those more traditional shapes.

The Regal Baklawa Collection is now available online and in selected ASDA stores.

Regal Raise £500 for Hospice on 10K Starlight Hike

The Regal Trekkers – a new name for the team of Regal walkers, took part in the Sue Ryder Starlight Hike to raise money for the Manorlands Hospice.

Raising £500, the 10k walk took the Regal Trekkers on a scenic hike through the open landscapes of the Worth Valley, including a visit through the famous Bronte Country.

Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice is in Oxenhope, near Keighley, West Yorkshire. As well as expert palliative care, Manorlands support people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Regal Trekkers Raise £1,500 for MIND in Bradford

The team at Regal Food Products Group Plc walked from Whitby into Robin Hoods Bay via The Cleveland Way and back again along The Cinder Track, to raise money for their chosen charity of the year, Mind in Bradford.

Clocking up a total of 15 miles each, the team raised a fantastic £1,500 for the mental health charity who promote mental wellbeing across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.

It is MIND in Bradford’s aim to help people experiencing emotional and mental health problems towards recovery and a better life.

Regal Support Community Bake Off Competition

Regal Foods were invited to support The Bake-Off Competition organised by Better Start Bradford. The competition was part of a summer school initiative that aims to break social isolation and bring dads and their children closer together through activities.

Zafar Kayani, Dads Engagement Officer, Better Start Bradford, said:

“The Bake-Off Competition was a fabulous way to finish on a high before DadsZone finished for the summer holidays.

Over the weeks of delivering a variety of activities, including woodwork, trips out, and baking, we have seen those bonds develop stronger and stronger between the dads and their children and each other.

It has been an amazing journey and we thank everyone that has been involved along the way, including a massive thank you to Regal Foods and Kris for judging our Bake Off competition and really making our families feel special.”

Kris, Technical Manager of Regal Foods said:

“It was an honour to judge the competition – the scones were all delicious. It was wonderful to see all the dads baking together with their young children. The work that Better Start Bradford’s Dads’ Community Engagement Officer, Zafar is doing with dads is so valuable and is clearly having a positive impact on their children.”

Regal Bakery Reveal Authentic Tandoori Roti NPD

We are pleased to reveal the latest edition to our breads range. Made the way they should be – our new Tandoori Roti and Wholemeal Tandoori Roti are baked using authentic methods to create a delicious flatbread.

Using traditional methods ensures our customers are receiving only the best- a product that is both authentic and great in flavour. The new Tandoori Roti and Wholemeal Tandoori Roti are available in packets of six and are now available in selected Sainsbury’s stores.

Baking for the First British Rugby League Eid Event

When we heard the Bradford Bulls were going to be hosting the first ever British Rugby League Eid Celebration – we just had to get involved.

The celebration event was in response to Bradford Bulls mission to use sport to bring people from all communities together.

Prior to the Bulls’ playing against the Broncos, the BARA (British Asian Rugby Association) took to the pitch to play Bradford Select Masters.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to bake the cake for this first-time event!

International Success Leads to Royal Meeting

Regal Food Products Group CEO, Younis Chaudhry, was recently invited to Buckingham Palace for a royal reception to celebrate the company’s overseas success and Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for International Trade win.

The royal reception held at the palace was hosted by HRH The Prince of Wales, The Princess Royal, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra.

The company’s success has seen overseas sales grow by 77% over the last three years, with an estimated 10% growth year on year over the next 3 years.

Regal Announced as Bradford City Official Shorts Sponsor

Regal Food Products Group are delighted to announce that they will become Bradford City Football Club’s official shorts sponsor next season.

In October 2021 Regal Foods announced their partnership with their home-town football club, Bradford City AFC. This announcement is the start of what promises to be a successful partnership and collaboration that will add greatly to the club, its people, and the communities within Bradford and beyond.

The new kit will see Regal Foods displayed on the shorts of the team, across home, away, third and goalkeeper kits for the next two seasons.

Regal Foods and Bradford City AFC will continue to collaborate, engage with and provide exposure in local communities, strengthening a collective presence across the district.

On Sunday 22nd May, the British Asian Rugby Association and Team Colostomy UK went head-to-head to raise awareness around #TacklingTheStomaStigma and mental health, whilst supporting breaking down barriers – all within sporting and physical activities.

An Invitation to No 10

CEO of Regal Food Products Group, Younis Chaudhry, was invited to 10 Downing Street for their Spring Showcase – an event hosted by the Prime Minister that promotes and champions the best of British Businesses. The event was also part of the Make British Food Great campaign.

After the recent news of Regal Foods receiving the prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, Mr Chaudhry discussed with the Prime Minister matters around international trade and the importance of British export.

International Trade Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan, Environment Secretary George Eustice and Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng were also in attendance for this celebratory event.

Regal Foods has been recognised for its excellence and success within International Trade.

What an honour it was to be proud sponsors of the UK’s biggest ballroom Iftar – The Grand Iftar. Presented by The Amir Kahn Foundation, the event held in London’s Park Lane was packed with live performances, celebrity guests, and of course Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom.

Adnan Siddiqui & Shahid Afridi Visit

The spotlight beamed down on Regal as we welcomed two very special guests to our head office site in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Star of the Hollywood and Bollywood big screen Adnan Siddiqui and cricket legend Shahid Afridi had a full site tour, enjoyed a meet and greet with the team, and of course enjoyed cake rusk and chai.

The visit was part of the Shahid Afridi Foundation charity campaign.

Fun, Fizzy & Fruity 1kg Sweets

Fun, fizzy and fruity! Regal Food Products Group are once again delighted to be expanding their confectionery range with two new 1kg sweet tubs.

Made of tongue tingling treats, the Fizzy Mix will be first welcomed into selected Asda stores along with a 1kg fruity Jelly Mix. The launch ties in with Asda and their Ramadan promotions.

The new range of 1kg will be widely available within the coming months.
