Regal Support Martin House Children’s Hospice First Eid Fest

On Saturday 1 July, Regal Food Products Group Plc donated and provided a selection of sweet treats, savoury snacks, juices, and chai to Martin House Children’s Hospice for their first ever Eid Fest.

The event included food and drink, Bhangra drumming, dance workshops, biscuit decorating, henna, and much more to celebrate the Hospice’s Eid party.

Regal Foods Crowned as Community Stars

Regal Foods have been crowned winners in the Business Making a Difference category at this year’s Bradford Community Stars Awards.

The special awards, organised by Bradford Metropolitan District Council, recognises the district’s unsung heroes and businesses who go above and beyond to help others.

Regal Foods community work within the Bradford District includes partnerships with Better Start Bradford, Mind in Bradford and Bradford Community Kitchen.

Regal Trekkers Raise £1,500 for MIND in Bradford

The team at Regal Food Products Group Plc walked from Whitby into Robin Hoods Bay via The Cleveland Way and back again along The Cinder Track, to raise money for their chosen charity of the year, Mind in Bradford.

Clocking up a total of 15 miles each, the team raised a fantastic £1,500 for the mental health charity who promote mental wellbeing across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.

It is MIND in Bradford’s aim to help people experiencing emotional and mental health problems towards recovery and a better life.

Supporting #TacklingTheStoma Stigma

On Sunday 22nd May, the British Asian Rugby Association and Team Colostomy UK went head-to-head to raise awareness around #TacklingTheStomaStigma and mental health, whilst supporting breaking down barriers – all within sporting and physical activities.

Regal Foods were proud to be supporting such an event through a sponsorship opportunity that allowed communities to come together in a charity rugby match – with zero stigmas attached.

Regal Provide School Meals

World food pioneers, Regal Food Products Group, are extremely proud and honoured to be supporting the Shahid Afridi Foundation in providing free school meals to children living in poverty who attend the Wadoodia Muhallah School in Karachi.

The project run by the Shahid Afridi Foundation is life changing for the children who attend the school in Karachi. The school caters for 216 children who live in the poorest of communities and conditions, which enables access to education for those children who would not normally be given the opportunity.

The Shahid Afridi Foundation is a non-profit organisation whose aim it is to improve the conditions of the underprivileged communities of our society in terms of Education, Healthcare Services, Access to Water, Sports Rehabilitation and Emergency Relief Response.

The Shahid Afridi Foundation said

“Provision of healthy and appealing meals at schools play a significant role in providing nutrients and reducing the intake of unhealthy food. They also serve as a way to model good nutrition, promoting healthier eating habits in children. For low-income families, school is more than just learning. Providing free meals to our students at Wadoodia Mohalla Campus, Karachi, Sindh; with the support of Regal Food Products Group an important income support for the family and a critical source of nutrition for the children.”
